I see so many commenting with same problem as mine…but the replies skip over our..problem…and answer other problems.

My phone did not come with kies…as i had read ahead of time..its as if samsung wants it hidden???
SO i searched it out…downloaded…installed it….plugged in my usb phone and chose connection of USB by ‘kies’ and no problems…zippo…flawless outlook contacts and transfers of media etc.

that was day one.

Day two…go to do the same and arrrrgh!!!!)(*&(*^*
the software syncing does not recognize the phone and keeps searching endlessly.
IF i simply want to transfer a few songs or vids to the device i can cheat and sync it thru windows media player.
But to do all other necessary functions utilizing Kies it just does not recognise it?
Tried several suggestions from other sites….how to plug it in..when to plug it in…do it when running….try starting phone from cold…try uninstalling and reinstalling kies etc etc etc.

Why is this so difficult …something as simple as plugging your phone in and using it thru usb with the software designed for it?

Thanks for the mention… I thought it was an interesting finding… the landscape will change as bada, specifically samsung *lowers* the barriers even more, with API’s stabilizing, firmware stabilizing, Kies picking up speed etc… no doubt Bada will appear on the next report…. so interesting times ahead… arr arr

Well an open question to all the bada developers
How many of you have tried changing ur country to some other to make sure that ur app is available …either to read comments in different countries to know wat ppl are talk abt it??

If u have never tried this till now just give a try….
change u r country and choose Russia/China

Just try let us know! what do u find!!
